SUMIDA HISTORY WALK AR-CAMERA app for iPhone and iPad

Enjoy “Sumida History Walk,” our app for a perfect stroll, packed with information about the historical area of Sumida and Ryogoku, to the fullest with this AR camera app. Follow the route of the ronins raid from Yasubei Park (which is said to have housed the kendo dojo—Japanese swordsmanship training hall—of warrior Horibe Yasubei, one of the ronin) to the Kira residence ruins, and meet “real” ronin of Ako along the way! Enjoy taking photos and videos together with the ronin who magically reappeared in the present.

There are 3 ronin of Ako that may appear in various places: Oishi Yoshio (a.k.a. Oishi Kuranosuke), Horibe Yasubei, and Sugino Juheiji. Their sizes and positions may be adjusted so you can take photos and videos with them as if youve joined them on the raid, or place them on your palm—feel free to play with them. Share your photos and videos on social media, and keep them as a souvenir of your stroll around historical Ryogoku!
